Three of us men stayed two weeks at Villa Doughty in June 2018 to wind down from work and our busy schedules. We wanted a nice, quiet, centrally located home that had all the creature comforts. Villa Doughty certainly fits that bill. We had the best time just sitting, reading, sleeping, relaxing in the pool and going on day trips around the Central Valley and the environs of Atenas. Our hosts could not have been more gracious and easy to work with and even checked in on us while we were staying there over the phone. Piet and Yvonne, the property managers, were very attentive to anything we could have wanted or needed from them. We had absolutely NO complaints during our entire stay and returned to Los Angeles rested. The property is a wonderful gathering place for butterflies, hummingbirds, birds of all sorts…and, even a few lizzards. It was nice to have the space to wonder and quietly take it all in during our stay. Thank you so very much for sharing your wonderful home with us and helping us to
