My wife and I have stayed at Villa Doughty twice now. This is one of those places that has to be experienced to be believed. Walking in the door you are met with a modern, spacious home, beautifully furnished, and a well appointed kitchen. It just gets better from there. Mornings you are met with hummingbirds and butterflies as you enjoy coffee on the porch. The views are wonderful from the home. The proximity to both Atenas city and Hwy 27 make this an ideal place to stay as your base of operations for touring Costa Rica. Big group or small, this is a wonderful place to stay!
