Ideally located the property is peaceful, private and quiet, there is nothing to distract you from the breathtaking views of the surrounding country side, spectacular from every angle, for a more dramatic view head to the balcony off the master bedroom . The home is well appointed, meticulously maintained and fully equipped with everything you could possibly require. A 40 foot covered terrace provides a great space to relax and escape from the the midday sun . The pool is a good size, and extremely refreshing during the heat of the day, birds and butterflies frequent this area and add to the serene atmosphere. The grounds are beautifully manicured with a variety of trees and flowers, nice for a walk about. If you have the opportunity be sure to take in the El Toledo coffee tour, it’s very informative and a delightful way to spend the day, you will never look at your cup of coffee in the same way again.
Do not feel that you have to rent a car the taxis are plentiful, clean and safe and even if you don’t speak Spanish you will be able to get around just fine. The town of Atenas is a gem, take time to explore it on foot. By far the best thing about Atenas and the country of Costa Rica is their amazing, welcoming, helpful people (Ticos). Whether you decide to spend your days at the villa and enjoy all it has to offer or use it as a base to explore Costa Rica you cannot go wrong with this property.
